As unattached as I was to the Martin Codax Albarino, it still somehow made it into January Wine Picks in the Food and Wine Magazine. Little did my modest group of wine tasting friends know, we were drinking a favored wine. Granted, we may have been slightly distracted by the 49ers managing to win the game within the last 10 seconds of the game. Go San Fran! Is there really something special about this wine?
